It is maddening that they still claim there was a concern Trump was working with the Russians. We know now, thanks to Mueller and ither investigations, that there was never any collusion. But we also know that Obama spied on Trump in real time from the earliest days of the campaign and they never saw Trump, or anyone on his campaign, working with the Russians.
McCord knows this and yet they perpetuate the deceit that Trump was colluding with Russia. At the time the Flynn set up took place, the Obama admin knew there was no Russian Collusion.
What would have been useful for Lowry to do is look at how the Flynn op was propagated in the media. How the media was used to ask questions, then use the administration’s answers to set Flynn up. How the media worked with the Obama admin to set this up is the hidden story, and its more important than the tangent Lowry focuses on.
Sure, its stupid to think Flynn would be blackmailed but why tiptoe around the real story?
They opened face lied to you about the Russians. The fact that your evidence is no longer anecdotal (name one person you know influenced to vote for Trump based on some Russian action), but heavily supported with investigations and now unclassified documentation; none of that will convince them that lying to your face doesn’t work out for them. Flynn’s life has been ruined, Stone still faces legal action, and they are still getting their pensions and guest appearance fees.
