Regular consumption of hard liquor may provide protection against the coronavirus.
It would be ironic if drinking Corona itself did so.

Yesterday we were put under a state of emergency, with one case in UK hospital. I waited till very late and went to grocery store, and while I was there I grabbed some Corona just in case I was fated to return with corona and the fates aren’t case sensitive.
I think our threat levels has dropped because the patient was from a small county that’s halfway to Cincinnati, so he probably hasn’t been running around our city for the past two weeks.
One thing that does somewhat irritate me is that the hospital won’t release any details about him, details which might be extremely useful to anyone wishing to avoid exposure. Roughly where did he work? Did he frequent a particular set of stores? This is not really “personal” information, but some hospital administrator is sitting on it, as if their goal is to make sure as many people as possible get sick and die.
It has shades of the way the CDC wouldn’t tell Los Angeles that one of the CDC screeners tested positive.
It’s worth bearing in mind that bureaucracy is even deadlier than the worst pandemic.
Tastes better than gargling mouthwash, eh?
Let me guess. Alcohol consumption inoculates you against being a medical professional and hence, substantially reduces the risk of contracting coronavirus. Smoking does that trick too.
