So we need more un-elected, un-removable people trying to regulate an industry no one yet understands? Yep, that is a good idea. Our government influence has created a space agency which can’t even put people into low earth orbit without Russian help. Do we really need that type of oversight? How about stating out of the way until a couple of companies figure this new frontier out.
I was about to say that congressional action in space appears worse. There’s this huge divergence, once again, between the interests of Congress and influential special interests, and the future of the US.
