1. Just yesterday I saw something about her on some website, one of those, “She’s almost 100 and she looks fabulous!” type links, so I looked her up (didn’t click the link, I know better than that).

   It was a heck of a jolt to discover she had passed away just today.

2. She may be the only person I can think of who still looked cute as a button at that age.

   1. Though she’s only 87, Mitzi Gaynor is arguably in that category.

      1. No argument here.

         Rhonda Fleming, Debra Paget, Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch are all very durable beauties as well.

3. Famous Hollywood personage once quipped:

   “I knew Doris Day before she became a virgin.”
