I’m no fan, but (unlike the Left) I’ll wait to see how credible the accusation is before I render judgment. For instance, did he tell anyone else at the time?

OK, looks like it was a hoax, and I was right to be skeptical. This is probably actionable, even though he’s a public figure, because it was clearly done with malice.

Have any electable Democrats entered the race yet? They have Biden, who voted to restore full citizenship to Confederate General Robert E Lee and who created the office of “Drug Czar”, even coming up with that name for it, and who pushed for the vast disparity between crack and regular cocaine that drove BLM activists crazy.
They have Buttigieg, who is going to be the new Kevin Spacey.
They have Kamala Harris, who loves putting innocent people of color in prison, even when she knows they’re innocent.
Then there’s the fake-Hispanic actually Irish-American multi millionaire who attracted only 35 students at a recent college appearance in Nevada.
And there’s Bernie the Marxist who wants to restore voting rights to terrorists, Elizabeth Warren, the fake Indian, and Amy “Monty Burns” Klobuchar.
I think at this point they’d be better off borrowing a Republican to run. Condi Rice checks a lot of boxes, as would Nikki Halley or Ivanka Trump.
Tulsi Gabbard, a female Pacific Islander who is also a veteran turned politician. She is a cute, well spoken, and accomplished version of Bernie Sanders.
I do like Tulsi. She’s a combat veteran who knows that Haji don’t surf. But I figure she’ll end up switching parties because she’s Hindu. We have elephants.
Mit would fit right in.

Now, now, George, you’re not giving Biden’s accomplishments a chance. He’s a real hands-on kinda guy.
For example, his blackmailing Ukraine to fire a prosecutor (who was investigating his son), that he was clever enough to boast about on camera. That’s taking a real personal initiative!
And what about his inspiring us all to make plagerizim great again?
Which one of the Democrats instigated this story? It is going to get dirty if the rape accusations are already coming out now.
I can’t stand Buttigeig (he supports making the US into Venezuela, via the “Green New Deal), but no one, not even him, should be subject to false accusations.
On the flip side, the Democrats have been pulling this stunt for years, so I don’t have a lot of sympathy.
What’s that line from Rathergate? “Fake but accurate”?
A coworker of mine served with Buttigeig in the Army Reserves and knows him very well. He says Buttigeig is actually quite conservative for a Democrat. Of course, that isn’t saying very much today.
