I love the replies to that tweet–one person said he would show up at these “buybacks” and offer more for good-lucking guns than the cops.
There are a lot of stereotype shattering truth bombs in that article to be explored if a journolist was really a journalist.
It has long been know that criminals use gun buybacks to upgrade their weapons.
Also to dispose of weapons used in major crimes, a side effect of the no questions asked MO of most buybacks.
