We just got back from Vandenberg (spent time wine tasting up there before coming back to LA). Elon has posted a sped-up video of the landing. Amazing how fast things happen at the end.

When was the last time NASA launched to rockets into orbit in a 48 hour span? And I think they have another one next week.
As people pointed out to me last week, this was pretty common a few decades ago. I had never imagined such a thing, that such glorious technology had been. We are emerging from a Dark Ages.
Arrgh I hate seeing a typo just after I hit Post. TWO rockets.
But when was the last time NASA launched to rockets in orbit?
A lot of subtlety in that. I’d love to look at the software code.
Cybernetics (the original definition re: control applications) was one of my first interests back in high school.
The venting at the end was inexplicably satisfying to watch.
The grind fins didn’t lock into place at the same time, was this intentional, an effect of the atmosphere, or ?
New grid fin design on this booster according to audio on narrated SpaceX video. These grid fins are titanium not aluminum and deploy more slowly by design. Doesn’t mention anything about simultaneity tho.
