I never thought it would get to the point where I couldn’t believe anything the media put out, but it has.

If you want the true story about anything… check out local first person blogs. Once the story goes second hand it often gets totally reversed.
You still have to establish if you’re believing a liar, but with first person accounts that’s often evident. Georgian bloggers had eyewitness accounts of the Russian invasion of Ossetia that never made the news.
