Well, some interesting research shows that it was actually zinc deficiency.

Canned food wasn’t invented by Napoleon. Napoleon funded the development of more advanced canning techniques with an open competition.
I didn’t mean that literally, just that he was the cause of it being developed.

The didn’t die of lead poisoning or zinc deficiency. They died for the same reason the protesters are freezing their asses off in North Dakota right now – guided by magical thinking (looking for a literally legendary NorthWest Passage through the Canadian Arctic), they were unprepared for the reality.
It pains me to say this, but the reason there so many protesters who stayed at the pipeline protest site had to be that it had four bars, and probably 4G coverage.
The number of bars is irrelevant to the quality of the whiskey.
