I don’t think I’ll be voting this year. I know that the Trumpists would have cried boo hoo if their candidate hadn’t of won and refused to vote.
I will be returning that favor to the Trumpists.

Pretty safe bet that Washington will go for the Democrats anyway. Even if it was close, we have vote by mail. Anyone who lives in Washington can vote, even foreign citizens. And Democrats always know just how many ballots they need to find in the trunk of a car.

As bad as you and I believe a Trump presidency may be, I think Hillary would be far worse. We’re only one supreme court appointment away from swinging the court. Those appointments are for a lifetime. I’m not willing to sacrifice my grandchildren’s future on a matter of spite.
Two points here: I am pointing out to the Trumpists, (and this is probably the same crowd who has refused to vote since 2008 because “their” candidate never wins the primary) that not voting for reasons of petulance has certainly damaged this country. The second is that my vote doesn’t matter anyway in Washington state.
If the polls actually show a narrow margin between The Duchess of Little Rock and The Donald, I might be persuaded to vote. However, I doubt that there will be much love for Trump.

There are as many people who don’t vote as do. Obama showed that this population can be tapped into by targeting Adult Swim and youtube programs. Trump is bringing more people into the tent. What he does with his (un)popularity remains to be seen.
Trump works harder than any of the other candidates. He can make a play for disillusioned Sanders fans and metropolitan minorities simply by showing up, which other GOP have declined to do.
Is that really true? He seems to have a problem spending the night away from home, which has meant lots of flying back and forth between the campaign trail and New York or Florida.
I would say that he makes more productive use of his time than most candidates, turning one tweet or call-in interview into mountains of media coverage that reaches millions of voters. But that’s usually because he’s saying something that offends at least half the electorate; an effective strategy in a primary election, less so in a general.

Ditto. Trump is a risk. Clinton is a certainty. The lesser of two evils is indeed, still evil, but it’s also still lesser. Optimizing a bad situation doesn’t always get you all the way to good or even to fair, but it’s still the thing to do. I’ll paraphrase a slogan from the now-long-ago Louisiana gubernatorial campaign between the flagrantly corrupt Edwin Edwards and the flagrantly racist David Duke – “Vote for The Hair. It’s important.”
Trump:
– is unlikely to get away with high crimes protected by the major media and the party he’s associating with.
– does not appear to hate this country, even if he doesn’t always get it.
There’s a lot more on the ballot than just US President. Make sure you vote for or against those.
This might be a good year for third party candidates.
The year they get something better than plurality elections will be good for 3rd party candidates. Until then the most they can be, baring a major party collapse, is a spoiler.

The “murder” could refer to Benghazi only, and it’s not inappropriate, given her actions there. It was certainly manslaughter in its irresponsibility.
