Of course they are. By the way, I can’t commend Ashe Schow enough on how she’s coming to the defense of men.

Wow. The extreme sensitivity reminds me of the story of a statistics teacher in Iran. He was explaining probability and when he pulled out a six-sided die, a student proclaimed it a ‘Satanic device’ and the teacher lost his job and nearly his life. Have we really stooped so low in America?
Feminazis gotta feminaze.
But if the same sculptor did a statue with a man down on all fours and representing the taxpayer, and Hillary fisting him, there wouldn’t be a problem. In fact, they’d probably get turned on. I know Baghdad Jim would.
It’s both worrying and depressing that by far the most effective defenders of men against the gender studies nazis right now are women. In a culture where men hadn’t been conditioned to passive acceptance (or perhaps where there is less estrogen in the water supply) they’d be occupying college administration buildings demanding an end to “hate classes” like gender studies.
[Trigger warning]
I literally can’t even.
Easy fix. Put a hajib on the woman. That should fit the progressive sensibility.
I’m more offended that it’s such a poor looking statue.

Actually, I thought the same when I first looked at it. I also thought it annoying that there is just enough distance between the man and the woman to suggest a person could sit there, but not really enough space. I rather have a usable bench where a real man can walk up and talk to a real woman.
