But what do I do about #4? Use “light” olive oil instead? I understand that soybeans are not good for males, but canola? I think I’ll have to stick with canola oil in situations where I can’t use butter. (I prefer butter, so I don’t use canola oil often.)
Not sure what situations you’re talking about. If it’s high-temperature frying, use lard.
I looked at the links, and I’ve decided I’m not going to change. I only use canola oil where I can’t use butter because of temperature. Now if my local supermarket sold ghee I might reconsider.
