(For the record, I do not believe Cruz is eligible to run for President. If you’re born in Canada, you’re Canadian, no matter the nationality of your parents.)
That’s not how US jurisprudence views it. Children of USian parents are natural born USians.
And if Trump runs, it’s a guarantee he’d sue, if only to clarify the issue. And to keep his name in lights.
The last time the Democrats nominated a presidential candidate who was not a raving narcissist was 1988. The Republicans should firmly eschew this lamentable practice.
