Somehow, though, I don’t think Pete is ready to retire.

Did anyone check to see if he just left, or rather turned into a bat and flew out one of the windows?
I haven’t had a lot of interactions with Pete, but they were fun and energizing. I really appreciated his “Whither Space Power” back when I was a Lt. and was thrilled to meet him a few years later through some of the programs I was working and having a discussion of Egyptian mythology of all things. He’s a character, I look forward to bumping into him in the private sector.
I wonder if he’s looking to move north to the new space mecca developing in the Seattle area.
The first time I met Pete was in Colorado Springs, at Space Command. What I remember most about his office was the giant cardboard Darth Vader. He’s a character.
