They’re suing the city of Ferguson. I’m sorry they lost their son, but I don’t think they have a case. It appears to have been suicide by cop.

It certainly appears to have been a good shoot, but it’s hardly suicide by cop. Doing stupid and violent things around and to cops certainly doesn’t indicate any intent to get yourself shot, even if it’s… well, really stupid. Think of it more as evolution in action.
I’m not sorry for them at all, if they had taught him not to burgled stores and assault cops he would be alive today. They are not entitled to one thin dime of taxpayer money for their own bad parenting
They should thank god they don’t have to serve time for the burglaries he committed.
The store owner he robbed should use them, settling for everything they get in this suit+ $1
if they had taught him not to burgled stores and assault cops he would be alive today.
I’m not sure that something that everyone is capable of learning. Sometimes kids are just bad.
I’m not sure I agree with that. Sure sometimes good parents end up with bad kids in spite of their best efforts, but you don’t have to much right to keep a child out of jail and off drugs, and if these people couldn’t accomplish that, I don’t see how that entitles them to any more of the taxpayer’s money than they’re already getting through whatever welfare program they’re already benefitting from.
I’m not saying they deserve any money. I was merely sympathizing with them in their grief for their lost son.
There’s also a lawsuit by “activists” (Really, that’s all the Herald calls them) to have a special prosecutor look into the county prosecutor for some nebulous “misconduct” in not indicting Wilson.
