With her announcement today, it seems like a good time to provide a quick review of the major ones, for those who don’t remember them, or live through them all. I’ll have a piece up in the next day or two specifically addressing historical revisionism on Whitewater.

Plus, as we saw in ’08, she’s a lousy campaigner and while she’s more than willing to whip out her own dirty tricks, she isn’t capable of handling the dirty tricks of others (Florida, Texas) .
This doesn’t even mention what ought to be the most damning thing at all, if progressives actually cared about what they claim to care about: Hillary’s enabling her husband’s continuing abuse of women, and her enabling character assassination on the women who complain.
Leaving aside the degree to which Bill Clinton has abused women, and the degree to which Hillary Clinton is responsible for Bill Clinton’s actions, there is no inconsistency in caring about issue X while supporting a politician with a poor record on X in his or her personal life. A politician by definition has the power to further a cause in her public life that far outweighs her ability to set it back in her personal life. If you “actually care about” women’s rights, Bill Clinton’s appointment of Ruth Bader Ginsburg alone far outweighed anything he did to women personally. Similarly, if you “actually care about” traditional moral values, Ronald Reagan’s actions in office far outweigh his divorce and adultery.
And thus you reveal the disturbing psyche of the left: the ends justify the means.
Is this why you destroy the middle class by eliminating coal plants, charging taxes on gasoline, destroying 3000 banks via Dodd Frank, etc etc etc?
You have no ethics.
I’m going to predict that none of the scandals will matter. Hillary will say that it’s time for a woman to be in charge and she will get the majority of the female vote. It will be another social justice election. I hope that I’m wrong.
My only consolation is that she will be mediocre and centrist.
The SJWs are already trying to define what words are unacceptable to use when discussing Hillary, including calling her Hillary. Any criticism will automatically be labeled as sexist just as any criticism of Obama is labeled as racists. Message to SJWs: you can kiss my ass.
