‘More came back’ made me think of the hayseed that brought his wife to the big city because he saw this elevator thing where an old woman got on and when the door opened again a beautiful young woman stepped out. Have no idea why?
I particularly liked the one for the astronauts absconding with the spacecraft and heading for Mars.
Heh, actually, was it even possible for an Apollo lunar mission to change course for Mars? Yup, they had enough delta/v potential to do a TMI burn. Of course, it would be somewhat sub-optimum for the crew, as they’d have a consumables issue en route. 🙂
