The guy who showed me how to use the television turned it to Fox News without my even asking. “It’s our favorite in Israel, they’re the only ones who report what is really happening. Well, until the past few days…”
Anyway, I’ve been seeing these little segments called “Fox News Extra,” with people like Patti-Ann Brown or Laura Ingall doing little interviews, and wondered if they were a new thing. Then I realized that I wasn’t seeing any commercials.
I’m intrigued by the “until the last few days” quote. Any idea what they are referring to?
Also, Rand, are you hearing anything about the reports (such as on Power Line and Breitbart) that Obama’s campaign staff are in Israel, working to defeat Netanyahu in the coming elections?

Presumably they (he, actually) was referring to the criticism from Chris Wallace and Shepherd Smith about Netanyahu’s visit.
Any word on the rumor that people from the US are interfering with the election?
It isn’t a rumor. Republican (and frequent Obama critic) had this to say last month:
“I can recall at least three occasions when Republican and Democratic administrations willfully picked Israeli favorites and tried to shape election outcomes.” He then goes on to tell some interesting stories about Bush, Baker, and Clinton.

Sorry, that was Republican (and Obama critic) Aaron David Miller, whose inside accounts of US-Israeli relations I always find enjoyable.
So I guess Obama lied again.
Arizona CJ,
I hope it is something more interesting, but I suspect it is this:

Same thing while I was in Mexico: no commercials on FNC.
