  1. To be fair, Obama doesn’t much care for the Polish either.

It would look rather foolish for Obama to be speechifying about never again would we allow something like this to happen. Then Obama might be forced to answer questions about the ongoing genocide in Iraq, Syria, and other Middle East countries.

I don’t know if Obama himself should go. He has shunned other WWII ceremonies. This would be something good for a VP but Biden would do something embarrassing.

The thing is though, that Obama and the Democrats keep talking about diplomacy and how Obama would rather solve problems through diplomacy and how Obama is so awesome at diplomacy yet he never does the basic diplomatic work. Does Obama not see how his attendance will help strengthen relationships with countries we need cooperation from on Russia, ISIS, and other issues?

It is kind of stunning that someone who has made his living off cries of solidarity wouldn’t show any with the people who coined the phrase.

    1. “…………..someone who has made his living off cries of solidarity ……….”

From Day One Obama has been solid for divisiveness.

  2. Well, he did go to Mandela’s funeral. Then again, he spent most of his time there taking selfies and laughing it up, so probably a good thing he stays away the Auschwitz event. Send someone who can behave themselves. And no, sending Biden wouldn’t be a good idea either.

  3. He heard it had something to do with Jews, so he sent the US Treasury Secretary.

On the bright side, he didn’t send the US Secretary of Labor.

  4. “On the bright side, he didn’t send the US Secretary of Labor.”

    Yee-ouch!

That would leave a mark – if the self-absorbed @sshole had any idea what it meant.
