This WAS a wierd one….
I was on call all last week and when this Big Boy came around the Eastern limb I was sure we were going to have to shut down the Chandra X-Ray observatory and replan the loads.
One day goes by……
Two….
Lots and lots of X-level flares but……
No CME’s…
No shutdown.
I dodged more bullets than were thrown at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
A little black spot on the sun today?…….did Sting become King of Spain again?
