Unfortunately the watermelon crowd has a very strong contingent up here. It’s an indication of how strong the socialist’s grip on education is across both our countries when so many people today can be convinced that self-righteous poverty and misery are better than wealth and happiness.

Ever heard of doing a vote of poverty? Seemingly it is popular not only in the Christian religions like the Catholic Church but in Asian religions like Buddhism as well. Heck even some Indians cults do it.
It is the religious akin to the “the only way to win is not to play”.
