Fortunately for them, the colonists in 1775 didn’t have the necessary technology to construct an ubiquitous personal communications system emulating, in many respects, an insect pheromonic hivemind. The Redcoats these days aren’t just after your guns, they want your soul as well.
It’s taken centuries, but now it should be obvious to anyone that government can’t work.
The 2nd amendment wasn’t about hunting or self defense. Back then it would be unthinkable that anyone would even attempt to prevent those normal uses. It was to keep government from becoming what it has become for decades now… Out of control. “The Constitution,” they snort, “are you some kind of serious wacko?”
It’s taken centuries, but now it should be obvious to anyone that government can’t work.
Would that it were so. The roughly 50% of the population who receive some form of government assistance vehemently disagree.
And I don’t know whether that figure includes the millions upon millions of government employees who regard you and me as inexhaustible money trees.
