You know this is exactly the type of thing that will give governments an excuse to have BATF require licensing 3D printers and bring one of the most promising new technologies to a screaming halt…
Just like lead bullets, better buy your 3D printer before its outlawed.
Can we build black market 3D printers with a legal 3D printer?
“And the workers shall own the means of production, comrades!”
It’s funny, but this is exactly what the left have supposedly been working for over the last century, yet they’ll be among the first to demand that 3D printers are banned. Because when they were talking about the workers owning the means of production, they were really talking about the Glorious People’s Central Committee On Production (i.e. them) owning the means of production, and this really screws up their plans.
I was in a discussion on another forum recently where someone was saying ‘but if anyone can print anything they want in their garage, where are the jobs going to come from?’
Boy the left are dumb.
Back more directly on topic, I presume this doesn’t actually have a plastic barrel, so it’s still along way from being a real 3D printed gun that’s usable for more than a few shots (if any)?
