I agree with some of the commenters at the link. When did Obama ever try and transcend the partisan divide? During the ’08 election he was hyper-partisan running the most negative attack ads in the history of the country. Since then, he has continued to use the most derogatory attacks against his political opponents. He has been unwilling to work with Republicans on any issue not just Obamacare and spending. With the use of government agencies as a wing of the Democrat party’s attack machine, it is hard to imagine how he could be any more partisan.
