He’s not interested in budget restraint or economic growth. It’s all about crushing his political enemies. That’s a war he wants to win, unlike the real wars overseas, that he just wants to “end.”

“The single most important objective is to make Obama a one-term President” Mitch McConnel

Well, sounds like they wanted to crush him, is anyone surprised that now he’s fighting back?
Well, dnguy, I guess McConnell is one of the smarter Republicans. Anyone with brains and a knowledge of Obama’s biography and even a modicum of interest in preserving the republic could have foreseen how dangerous to American liberty having an unreconstructed Red Diaper in the White House would be.President Alinsky, on the other hand, wants to crush his enemies when they pose an impediment to him realizing his Uncle Frank’s dream for America.
So why did McCain lose in 2008 and Romney in 2012?
I don’t know how your question applies to my comment. I suppose you may be thinking that by calling McConnell “smarter” I’m referring to some ability to win elections. I was actually referring to the intelligence to see what a threat to liberty Obama and the continued growth of the State is. Why McCain or Romney lost is a question you’d be better off asking someone who follows party politics. The only answer I can give to the question is: “Certainly not because they were such hard-hitting critics of Obama.”
This isn’t about Obama. This is a continuation of the policy of funneling tax money to one parties coffers.
It’s insane that we allow it. The reason it is allowed is the stupid parties elites benefit as well to a lesser extent. They don’t care if they are forever the minority party as long as they get to have their minor power as well. Unelecting them isn’t good enough. I’m thinking of a more Roman solution like at the end of the Sparticus movie.
