African-Americans have been having trouble with wealth accumulation for a long time.
Post Global Financial crisis, it’s been real tough. Subprime mortgages were sold heavily
in the regions of the poor, and black.
Lots of working poor black people were in construction which hasn’t recovered.
You do realize that Obama himself was pushing those predatory lending policies right? And Democrats, citing racism, blocked all efforts in congress to tighten lending requirements.
Your link also mentions how student loan debt is hurting black people. So there are two examples of Democrats trying to “help” black people but only made things worse. At the root of both is the Democrat’s notion the black people are incapable because of their skin color. Its disgusting.
The economic recovery has been very spotty, it’s been a wall street not a main street recovery,
no surprise working poor black people have been struggling.
Those are Obama’s fiscal policies driving it He has to look out for the people who bankrolled his campaign. Gonna be fun when the QE buble pops.
The reason it’s no surprise that the poor are struggling the most is because that is where Socialism does the most damage.
If socialists made the poor rich, they’d stop voting for socialists…
Much better to get them dependant on welfare, then you have votes for life.
Next thing you’ll know people will start to notice that socialism increases inequality and disparity of wealth.
But he’d still vote for Obama again, and defend him from his detractors.
This tells you a lot about Tavis Smiley.
I’m fully confident that Smiley and Cornell West will continue their now-and-then socialist road show. To socialists, the answer to a failure is always more socialism.
Socialists remind me of the optimistic boy in this joke. Despite all evidence that socialism is a failure, they keep believing that if they just keep trying, they’ll find that pony in there at last.
