OK, call me crazy, and I haven’t looked into this at all. But would anyone be at all surprised if they were selected on how much they filled Democrat campaign coffers rather than track record or competence?

Obama: “I don’t see what the problem is. We gave the contract to a donor’s son. The kid had this bitching MySpace page. You should’ve seen it. It was really something. How hard could this be?”

Ok. You are crazy.
You’re welcome.
I wouldn’t be that surprised, given the administration’s history, but I don’t know that is look for it. Three years for this level of integration work on government computers, with the paperwork and bureaucracy and security issues, not to mention I doubt a lot of those systems had good APIs already since you really shouldn’t be accessing URS profiles from outside computers before this, etc., was pretty ridiculous. That’s really, really fast and it’s not a big surprise it didn’t work very well.
Grr. Phones bad for typing. I mean IRS, and there are other typos.
You could actually look up the names of the contractors (CGI Group, Quality Software Services, etc.), and find out how much they gave. But that’s actual work.
