As I mentioned last night, we got a bit of news. The new judge is a Carter appointee, but he was reappointed by both presidents Bush.

Weisberg received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1965 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1968. Later, Weisberg earned a LL.M. in Urban Law from NYU Law School. [1]
Career
Weisberg began his legal career with the Office of Economic Opportunity lawyers’ program. In 1970, he became a staff attorney with the Public Defender Service (PDS) of Washington, D.C. In 1974, Weisberg became Chief of the Appellate Division of PDS. He joined the Superior Court in 1977. [1]
did a degree in “Urban Law”, was OEO, and a PDS attorney. Did appelate
work so, he’s used to very high altitude, might have taken a few cases to the supreme court. Probably did some constitutional cases. Will be very well versed
or will get up to speed fast on the appeals filed.
Won’t be very friendly to the multiple appeals filed to date.
