But there’s a new puppy at the White House!

The White House knows what it is doing. Shame is in short supply. Keep the low-information crowd fed with bread and puppies while evil flourishes. Any change in programing from puppies to religiously motivated murder will upset the White House narrative, and provide the terrifying images of White House appeasement.

They should have named it “Distraction.” It helps with the “phony” scandals, meltdown of ObamaCare, and sucky economy, too.

  4. In a related side note, this BBC story is, well, it just can’t end well in the long term, but illustrates how our impulse to support victims can turn us all into future victims of Islamic extremism.

    Swedish women have been posting photos of themselves in traditional Muslim headscarves in solidarity with a woman attacked apparently for wearing a veil.

    Among the protesters from various faiths were politicians and TV hosts.

    To me, that’s like getting a little bit pregnant to make a statement. It’s easy to put on the veil, but it can take centuries to get it off. They say liberalism stems from an inability to think about long term consequences. I’d say “Yes. It does.”

  5. Yup, Egypt is basically turning into Syria-lite with scattered sectarian and religious violence expected for the next few years. As I pointed out before a huge swathe of the Earth from Nigeria and Mali through Egypt, Sudan, and Syria, through Iran and over to Pakistan/Afghanistan is in some form of chaos right now and will continue to be wracked by political and security instability over the next several years at least. It’s by far the most important geopolitical event of our time and yet the administration has no goddamned clue what to do about it. And the media generally has no clue that it’s even happening.
