Did you follow the link? The filmmaker/felon has been released from jail.
The 55-year-old Egyptian-American has been granted supervised release from a federal prison, according to the Justice Department.
Shame on you, Rand!
Bureau of Prisons records show he is at an undisclosed halfway house in Southern California and is due to be formally freed next month.
oh… Shame on you, Jim!
This guy went to jail because Obama was trying to appease the muslim street. At least he didn’t get audited and have his non profit status attacked by the IRS…
At least he didn’t get audited
Nakoula opened bank accounts with fake names and other people’s social security numbers, deposited bogus checks from those accounts and withdrew cash. Heaven forbid he get audited!
Whoosh right over your head.
When the IRS persecuted people you said it wasn’t like they got sent to prison camp so it wasn’t a big deal. But here we had a guy go to prison because Obama scapegoated him and ruined his life.
Once again, regardless of your views of Nakoula it doesn’t justify what Obama did to him.
Your defense is always, “I don’t like this person/group so it is ok to do whatever illegal acts you want to them.”
here we had a guy go to prison because Obama scapegoated him and ruined his life
It was his decision to cook meth, his decision to defraud banks, his decision to not pay his creditors or his taxes, and his decision to lie to his probation officer. He went back to jail after pleading guilty to violating the conditions of his parole. If anyone ruined his life, he did.
And Obama’s decision to blame Benghazi on his video and have him arrested for it.
I don’t disagree that the guy isn’t the most upstanding of citizens, I just don’t think his background excuses Obama’s actions against him like you do.
He’s in a halfway house, actually, so he hasn’t been fully released.
“Bureau of Prisons records show he is at an undisclosed halfway house in Southern California and is due to be formally freed next month.”
Also, Baghdad Jim, he DID spend 9 months or whatever in jail, so the fact that you found a minor error in Rand’s statement doesn’t mean much.
a minor error in Rand’s statement
Rand’s statement was “a film maker is in jail”. The film maker is not in jail, and the link was about statements he made after being released from jail. Being 100% wrong is not a minor error.
The filmmaker/felon has been released from jail.
Oh, so does that mean he’s free to go about his way having served his time to society?
No, it means he is not in jail, and that it’s false to say that he’s in jail. Is that so hard to understand?
“We released the political prisoner we arrested in order to cover up our own crimes… released him I say, after only a few months in jail!”
Still in custody. Still in fear for his life. Democrats still trying to destroy him to protect Obama.
You have a rich fantasy life. Do explain how Democrats are trying to destroy him (and why it’s taking them so long), and how destroying him protects Obama.
Thanks Jim. I do have a rich fantasy life but that isn’t something I write about in the comments sections on blogs. You have some insider access to the NSA?
I refer you to Gregg’s comment below.
I don’t think the Dems are trying to ruin Nakoula’s life.
They are using him as a distraction and a scapegoat to cover up their horrific blundering and venal concern for re-election which resulted in the needless deaths of 4 Americans.
And, well you know, if their use of Nakoula just so happens to ruin his life, well that’s the way the cookie crumbles; they simply don’t care.
As an aside, 400 anti-air missiles stolen? Could we have some transparency on that please? I’m open to correction here, but this sounds like the sort of competence that we’ve come to expect from the Obama administration.
