I just love it when it crashes right after hitting “Publish” on a blog post. (Version 22, on Fedora 19)
Fortunately, WordPress does a pretty good job of remembering.

Probably the best thing to do in the future is open up a notepad instance first and type into that, and then copy-paste into the browser. If the browser screws up, you can just reopen it and copy-paste again. It is what I do with any post longer than a couple of sentences.
Some people have complained that the site sometimes spontaneously switches to mobile mode. There’s a link at the bottom of the page that should allow you to switch between mobile and desktop. Unfortunately, it’s broken because the host name is empty:
http:///?wpmp_switcher=desktop
If you simply add ?wpmp_switcher=desktop in the URL bar it switches back to desktop mode, but it would be more convenient if the link worked. There must be a WordPress setting for the hostname somewhere.
Yeah that happens to me quite often as well. I get stuck on mobile for whatever reason.
Yeah, I did that to my bookmark a while back. The weird thing is, I’ll sometimes open multiple posts, each in a new tab, and that setting won’t follow to all of them.
Going back a page in firefox often brings it back.
Did you have this problem posting the “And then there was one” article? Because there are two of them….
maybe it worked after all?
