The question is whether or not Islam as a religion is separable from the totalitarian ideology. Christianity had its reformation. Islam awaits its own.

I read a few years back an article claiming that Islam had the start of its own reformation back in the 15th C, but a few assassinations put a stop to it. I’ve no idea how accurate that was, I haven’t seen similar claims anywhere else.
