  1. If he had one scintilla of character, he’d drop out JUST on the Iran thing. But now, after Iran AND Big Louie the Race Pimp, he should resign his current positions and move to a small town in France, and become a driving teacher.

  2. Schtumpy, it’s not just a lack of character on Hagel’s part. There is not enough backbone in the US Senate to do the right thing, refuse to confirm him, and tell Obama to make a better choice.

  3. Who’s surprised? Obama isn’t picking ’em for character, folks. Or competence, come to think of it. What you should be questioning is… what IS he picking them for?
