It’s time to end it.
I continue to try to limit my own sodium intake, because it does seem to affect my blood pressure, but trying to extrapolate from individuals with salt sensitivity to the general population is a fool’s errand based on junk science. Of course, a lot of the power mongers out there, like Mike Bloomberg, are unfortunately fools as well.
The dose makes the poison. In the case of salt, too little can be just as deadly as too much.

Yep when the Apocalypse hits, a lot of clueless people will come to see just how vital salt is.
Medicine seems especially prone to the metric fallacy: focusing on that which can be measured –and thus controlled– and ignoring other, less easily defined, inputs.
