Using other peoples money is a problem since it turns you into a lefty.
So is it time for a secret society that obeys the laws formally, but disengages in actuality? It starts with a bank that isn’t a traditional bank. It’s doesn’t exist as far as non members know. It’s purpose is to provide an interface with dollars while instituting a commodity based cash.
Member employees have no jobs as far as the government is concerned with no taxes or fees paid. They get paid by the bank directly to a debit card with a higher salary since they keep those taxes and fees.
Transactions with other members are done with this debit card using commodity backed private currency. Transactions with the world happen in ever inflated dollars.

What you are describing is money laundering in plain English and it is illegal.
Highly illegal, but an effective means of going Galt if you somehow pulled it off. Difficulties of keeping a secret among a largish group of people, with incentive to expand.

I predict when their new schemes (eschools and think tanks) fail they will start blaming the Fluoride in the water for making the public dumber. This what their JBS precursors did 🙂
What they fail to recognize is only a small portion of the population is driven by ideology. Even during the Revolutionary War only about a third wanted independence, the rest were indifferent or preferred England. The only thing keeping the Tea Party afloat is that the majority vote base on family party loyalty (robo-voters) and ignore primaries, so if they are able to pack a Republican Primary they basically capture the robo-voters unless their candidates get caught saying something really stupid or behaving odd.
Thomas, I don’t think that you can imagine the depth of our indifference to your ignorant opinions about the Tea Party.

Thomas, it’s not a long term “conspiracy” by the left, but it is a long term policy being pushed for in giving government more and more control over our lives. Why you would want such a thing is beyond me.
Liberty is probably better described as “self-government”. That is, each individual is free to pursue his own life with the least amount of government interference possible.
This is made impossible when the government takes half of my money or more for all of the redistributionist crap that has been passed over the last century or so. Yes, this includes Social Security, Medicare and the rest.
The Tea Party Wonderland you talk about is really all of us who just want to go about our days in peace without the government sticking their fingers into every damn decision I make in my life.
