      1. Fo’ shizzle thug thizzle.

Remember, it’s not evil when rich upper-class black folk do it, only when poor under-class white folks do.

    1. My mother was a housing officer (civilian) in Greece in the 70s and gave Colin Powell a debrief like any other member going through the former Hellenikon USAFB. She was positively impressed by him.

So I’m one degree of separation.

  1. Powell is, was and will forever be a RINO.

Never been a fan, doubt I ever will be. And endorsing Obama the first time I kinda understood, even if it was a racially motivated thing. But to endorse THIS President, after all we know about his thought processes, seems very far from anything any ‘republican’ should do.

Powell is a Republican of the same mold as Arlen the Spectre.

  2. Considering what a mess he made of his political career, it makes me wonder how he got promoted all those times.

  3. DaveP,
there are just people who thrive in the military who just can’t figure out the civilian world. Even as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, obviously making him the highest ranking person in the military, he is STILL operating within the military structure.

I can’t figure out HOW he thinks he’s a Republican.

At best he’s a quasi-moderate Democrats. And that he is again supporting Obumble, should push Reince Priebus to ask him to change his voting choice status!

  4. Yet when it came to defending a bunch of horses**t “intel” for invading Iraq, you guys squared up behind Powell as the Voice of Reason. Did you question his judgement then, or only now that he endorses a Democratic president?

    1. Guilty on both charges, more or less. I wouldn’t find his support of a democrat so objectionable, it’s his support of this particular democrat.

      1. Not sure who that is to. I didn’t question his support of the invasion–Iraq had used WMDs before, they were acting pretty weird for people who had nothing to hide. I thought at the time that the US should be pretty darn sure before going in–violating sovereignty like that is a dangerous precedent.

I questioned his judgment in supporting BO the first time, but not too much. BO was a blank slate if you didn’t look too closely.

I don’t see any excuse for him supporting BO the second time around.
