  1. “I got to the convention site just 15 or 20 minutes before I was scheduled to go on,”

“There was a stool there, and some fella kept asking me if I wanted to sit down,” Eastwood said. “When I saw the stool sitting there, it gave me the idea.”

    Jaw. Drop.
    A great read.

    1. Eastwood probably convinced a lot of people that it’s OK to not vote for Obama. Unfortunately, they need to do two other things; vote, and vote for Romney. In large numbers. We’ll probably know early if that’s going to happen. Polls close in Pennsylvania at 7PM I think.

      1. Clint also showed the so-called comedians that it’s OK to mock and ridicule Obama. He deserves mocking and ridicule. For at least the rest of the campaign season, a lot of people won’t see an empty chair without thinking of Clint’s takedown of that empty suit in the Oval Office.

  2. That the legacy media slams Clint Eastwood’s speech for being “chaotic” and “unorganized” makes clear they really don’t get it. It was the way Eastwood delivered his speech off the cuff that made it so brilliant, because he was sincere. His sincerity is what truly excoriated Obama. I think the legacy media is so far off the deep end that they no longer can recognize sincerity.

    1. because he was sincere.

Was he? Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood director who used to make conservative movies and now makes fairly mainstream liberal movies.

Until he appeared at the convention, I didn’t even know if he considered himself a Republican anymore. I’m not saying he *isn’t* sincere — I just don’t know what to make of him anymore.

      1. Fairly mainstream liberal movies? Did you see the same Gran Torino I did? A liberal version of that would involve him getting all his neighbors on welfare and asking what they did to make the gangers hate him. Oh, and mocking the priest, but for being a priest, not for inexperience.

    2. You’re right on the money-You know the thing is, I’ve been finding it very hard to find even a couple of blogs/websites which standup up against and oppose the mainstream media left wing attack on Eastwood – I know there are thousands of sites/blogs out there that stand up against the left in the media and on the web ( blogosphere etc. ) regarding Eastwood’s talk, but I can’t find them ! So then I started to research about how google skews their search results – the thing is, the powers that be don’t need to literally censor the internet using legislation – infact that would be counterproductive in a way, because people by and large know of the attempts to control the internet ( in the name of cyber-security or whatever ) – and won’t have any of it, and politicians who try to do so would invite a lot of trouble – but the point is, if you control google, you already control the net – I can’t find the blogs/sites which contain the point of view that supports Clint Eastwood and opposes the left – try searching “Clint Eastwood” on google and see for yourself – and try searching in various ways – “pro clint eastood” – ” pro clint eastwood articles blogs sites” etc- use advanced search options like all the words or exact phrase etc. search for blogs/news – i’ve done all of the above – and come up with literally a handful of sites/blogs including this one, and Ilana Mercer’s blog – and i’ve searched all the way upto page 70 and more – the Carmel Lone Pine article states : “He had no idea that overnight, a rebellion had erupted online against the media’s condemnation of him, with thousands of bloggers, Twitterers and commentators calling him, “a genius,” “1,000 times more brilliant than the media,” and saying he’s “only gotten better with age.”
Now try finding these thousands bloggers. twitterers and commentators on the net using google – it’ll give you a good idea of the extent of the control that the left wing establishement has over the media both audio and visual across the board, as well as on google –

And by the way, i completely agree with you – i’d rather spend five minutes with Eastwood than a whole night with any of the dumb ass women at the DNC who as far as i’m concerned can jump in the well and take their hotness with them-

  3. BTW, Eva Longoria and the other woman may be hot looking. But I would choose to have a beer with Clint Eastwood any day over have one with these women.

    1. People are people with a lot of silly ideas and we seldom agree. However, some things are so black and white it amazes that the idiots don’t get it.

Obama wants everyone to be Julia. They don’t know what to make of a Mia Love or anyone in the tea party.

    2. Abe, there’s girls twice as dumb that don’t look half as good. Hell, I’d pretend to be Obama if it meant tapping some of that fine, fine ScarJo ass. She probably wouldn’t know the difference…

      1. So you’d prefer to have a few beers with Eastwood, but way too many cocktails and a couple bottles of champagne with the hot blonde chick.

“Call me Obama baby! Call me Obama!”

The other day I watched Clint’s interview on “Inside Actors Studio” which is on Youtube. It was really good.
