Too bad the old Drachmas aren’t going to be any good. I’ve got a 500,000 note that might have paid for a nice vacation. In the early 80s I spent three months outside of Athens (USAFB in Glyfada I think.) For a couple of hundred per month you could have a nice villa including servants. Champagne brush (and they kept the glasses full) for two couples cost less than $10 complete with ice sculptures.
