With another woman? A Republican woman who was the first woman to command a squadron of Air Force fighters? Should be an interesting race.

It is my hope that, over the next decade or so, hundreds or thousands of Iraq and Afghanistan vets will run for office.
If they do they will fight hard and win.
If they win, you will have someone who knows how to separate things that really matter from things that don’t.
Someone who lived the idea of “the unit over selves”.
Someone who has courage to do the right thing.
Not that they are perfect…but they are serious adults.
Gregg, I’d love to think it would work out that way.
Starship Troopers by Heinlein has as its basis that people who have served (combat or non-combat) tend to make better political decisions than those who didn’t.
Not entirely sure I believe it would work in the real world.
classic “people are motivated by their self interest, except for when they run for office – then they become angels”.
It should be interesting to see what type of new civility is directed at this lady.
They will Palinize her.
Yes they will…until several women fight back and destroy them politically.
And teh machine Republicans (and not a few ‘conservative’ webloggers) will help them do it. “Her negatives are too high”, y’know.
