There is hope in the world if, and only if, everyone who sees that comment from The Other Jim, and mulls it over.
Until people start saying so out loud, and very loudly at that, unless people point out the stupidity and dangerousness of “diversity in the world” so long as any possible diversity excludes Jews and Christians, there is no hope. Excluding Jews and Christians leaves only religions of extreme violence or extreme passivity.
When Anti-Semitism was allowed to reach it’s fullest strength, there was killing on a factory style basis. How many would, or will be killed, if Anti-Semitism is coupled with Anti-Christianism too and allowed that same kind of freedom?
That sounds like a world of predators and prey to this Christian. And I fear not for myself, but, as always, for us all.
Beyond that, we have the ability to vote IN sound thinkers who can save the world in a physical manner. The spiritual side HAS been addressed.
Merry Christmas to you all, regardless of past or future differences, I bid you all the best from the Der Schtumpy Clan to all of you.
Thank you, Rand. Merry Christmas to you. Well, have a joyful day celebrating with family the wonderful year.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Rand and thanks for all that you do to give us a great place to hang out.
Merry Christmas to all. I’m enjoying a quiet day at home with the cats, and am currently reading a McDonnell-Douglas history of the Thor missile that I downloaded in PDF form awhile back. I’ll also be downloading high-resolution photos from NSF.com to add to my collection.
Merry Christmas, Rand. Y’all have an enjoyable, quiet day.
We do need to get rid of the stupid idea that all cultures are equally good. I’d like to send all those clowns who think so to go live in the “equally good” culture of Somalia, or the lawless tribal lands of Pakistan, or even Egypt at the moment. I’m sure they’d enjoy the “equality” – for a couple of nanoseconds.
The Enemy has been trying to persecute us out of existence since the day they crucified the Lord. They failed every time. They’ll fail this time. Persecution only makes us stronger.
News flash for persecutors: your doom is sealed. We destroyed Roman paganism. We’ll destroy scientism and Islam, too. We cannot be defeated. Gates of Hell and all that.
Thank you for bringing attention to the issue of persecution. It’s refreshing to see in a venue such as this.
Joyeux Noël, Mr. Simberg, and thanks for all the hard work you do for this blog.
Merry Christmas, Rand. Peace to you and your family, and to the extended family that inhabits your blog. May next year be better for us all.
And more tragic news this morning from Nigeria, the bombing of Churches during Christmas services.
[[[ABUJA — Islamist sect Boko Haram claimed responsibility for a wave of Christmas Day bombings on Sunday, including an attack on a Catholic church that killed at least 27 people.]]]
[[[The first explosion on Sunday struck St. Theresa Catholic Church in Madalla, a town in Niger state close to the capital, Abuja, authorities said
“The officials who counted told me they have picked 27 bodies so far,” Father Christopher Barde, Assistant Catholic Priest of the church, said. Officials continued to tally those wounded in various hospitals, said Slaku Luguard, a coordinator with Nigeria’s National Emergency Management Agency. ]]]
[[[In Jos, a second explosion struck near a Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church, government spokesman Pam Ayuba said. Ayuba said gunmen later opened fire on police guarding the area, killing one police officer. Two other locally made explosives were found in a nearby building and disarmed, he said. ]]]
Yes, lets indeed pray for the persecuted Christians of the world who don’t have the freedom to worship that we take for granted.
Yes, Rand, thanks for this thread, and Merry Christmas!
Merry xmas everyone.
