We went out for a walk on the beach, and just got back early in the third quarter. What the heck happened to the Lions? I could see them losing to Chicago, but down 34-6? And no touchdowns? If they come back from this, it will be the comeback of the century.

Well, two consecutive pick sixes early in a quarter will do that. Stafford must be having a bad day.

From what I can tell from game tracks and tweets, it sounds like the defense did fine, but the offense fell apart. Normally if the defense holds the opponents to 16 points, Detroit should win, but not when the offense turns the ball over that much.

He was obviously distracted by the news that the Lion’s biggest fan decided to take a walk on the beach instead of watching the game.
Is there any evidence whatsoever that I’m “the Lion’s biggest fan”? You must not know any real Lions fans. If I was a big Lions fan, I’d have bought the sports package so I could have watched the game today.
There are Lions fans after that game?

Maybe the #OWS folks should call for football score redistribution.
After the 45-10 asswhipping they put on the Broncos a couple weeks ago, I didn’t shed any tears over yesterday’s score. Still, the Lions are a strangely good team this year. They’re likely to break a longstanding Thanksgiving tradition of watching the Lions lose. It might even be worth watching.
You do know they’re playing the Packers that day, right?
