I wonder what this will do to their bottom line? Judging from comments, nothing good. I’m guessing most of their customers are the 53%. I know they’ve lost my business for good.

How bizarre. And I don’t think the Occupy B.S. is at all popular, particularly with the Men’s Wearhouse demographic.
Yep.
Guess my next suit (which will be a while, thank God) will be from Nordstrom’s or somesuch.
Unless they make a really groveling apology and blame this SNAFU on a rogue element…
The “rogue element” seems to be its founder and CEO, who is a major Democrat donor.
I find it odd that leading Democrats want to publicly associate themselves with this movement. I understand, if despise, the desire to try to take advantage of it, but publicly associating with something most of America is laughing at? Seems kind of dumb to me.
Dumb is as dumb does.
I thought the people who had jobs and made enough money to pay net income tax is 57%.
On the other hand, Wearhouse is known for cut-rate suits — can’t speak to the quality as I am a Land’s End person as we have a discount outlet store offering up overstocks, monogrammed-for-someone-else and seconds that can’t be beat on price and quality.
You suppose Wearhouse caters to the 43%, that is, the persons needing a cut-rate suit to go out looking for work?
The people at the #OWS arsonist rape camps don’t appear to be the suit-wearing types.
The high cost of low prices, indeed.
Well, Men’s Warehouse would surely profit once the OWS crowd succeeds and all people have to wear exactly the same suit to show how we’ve all become comrades. They just want to be the one to land the government contract for 300 million Maoist peasant jackets.
The media is doing a disservice to the low-information Democrat supporters of OWS by not accurately reporting on these protests.
Well think we missing it, it is the Employees of Men warehouse be it light on feet, metro, fashionistas, would probably be some of the same people that are out protesting. They probably got tear gassed themselves.
Mens Wearhouse founder George Zimmer is reportedly a long-time contributor to liberal causes and candidates, including Barack Obama, Al Franken, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Howard Dean, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton.
He is one of the “Patriotic Millionaires for Financial Strength” who “requested” that the government raise their taxes, instead of patriotically making voluntary donations of their own money to the government.
Zimmer also appointed Deepok Chopra to the board of directors. Enough said.

I wasn’t aware of this, but yeah: Enough said.
Mark Twain said “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.”
The same goes for mens taylors and discount suit salesmen.
OWS was not impressed with Men’s Wearhouse level of support
Hmm 🙂
