Those of you who follow college football may be interested to know that we attended the game today in Ann Arbor. We actually had good seats, up high under the roof line, out of the sun, so the weather was tolerable. We didn’t actually get wet until we evacuated the stadium the second time. It was a memorable game. And despite the score, the team still has a lot to work on.

I missed the game, but was glad to see the Wolverines start the Brady Hoke era on a positive note. Thanks for that on-the-scene report!
Can you send some of that rain to Texas? Even tropical storms are avoiding us. I do wonder if Obama will give Louisiana federal disaster for the *cough* flooding *cough* that he has been denying Texas for wild fires.
The entire Gulf coast is in Republican hands these days. No soup for you!
Rand, I went to grad school at Ann Arbor in the late ’70s, and then taught for two years at WMU in Kalamazoo. Please answer me this:
What the heck were these two teams doing on the same field??? 😉
Giving Michigan an easy game to kick off the season, and providing a lot of funding for the Broncos’ program. Everyone likes to play Michigan, because it means lots of revenue, win or lose. And, who knows? A lot of people thought that Appalachian State and the Wolverines didn’t belong on the same field. In a sense, they were right 😉
