Here are some pretty pictures of their proposed space hotel. Still no explanation of how they get the price down below a million dollars (I don’t think anyone is going to get to orbit cheaper than SpaceX in that time frame, and they’re charging twenty million a seat). I also wonder when the “space tourism season” begins and ends. And where does it get its power, and how does it get rid of heat?
If you’re guessing I’m skeptical about this proposal, you’re correct.
Yeah, I won’t be putting a deposit in early. Another article mentioned that the people would fly there via Soyuz capsule, but this slideshow talks about 7 guests there at a time. That’d be 3 Soyuz capsules.
Where is the expansive view? Somebody commented it looks like being locked in a shipping conex. Loosk like an MRI trailer to me.
PS, that thing is a cracker-box!
It’s hideous, was the interior design done by engineers?
And the exterior by Eskimos?
The lack of any window would seem to take away one of the main reasons for going there.
Rand,
I don’t know if you follow this news outlet, it has video on this.

Is there free breakfast? What time is checkout?
If there’ll be windows, the view will be awesome, but what would one do in that terrarium for five days? Or what would one do under the prying gaze of the other five guests? Doesn’t look like there’s any privacy.
Well, they’ve got the escape pods all designed. Now all we need is the Federation Starship to wrap around them.
