…and the planet is saved. I’ll leave it to commenters to find all the errors. My favorite is making a fuel stop at Uranus.

Are you sure that wasn’t some kind of cross-posting from the onion?
Heh, he said, “Uranus.”
Yes, instead of using nasty polluting fossil fuels, we’ll have rockets using pure clean hydrogen!
Oh wait.
NASA would have to throw their current rocket fuel out the window
Throw it out the window, instead of out the back-end. Brilliant.
since it is so heavy it would impede future rockets’ abilities to reach speeds necessary for deep space travel.
How much helium do we need to get to Europa?
Environmentalists are some of the most mathematically challeged, most stupid and naive people I have ever encountered. They think emotion and intention are as valuable as fact and reality.
They are noisy sheep but sheep nonetheless.
There is something to be said about NASA giving us global warming. The funny things is, it wasn’t the Space Shuttle Program. However, with the suspicion of the manned spaceflight program operations, the part of NASA that gave us global warming is getting additional funding next fiscal year. If you really want to end global warming, cut funding in both places.

Minorities and women hardest hit.
There was an article in the local paper yesterday about greener grilling and how it is better to use gas than charcoal because charcoal produces more smoke. I don’t think the author has much experience grilling or knowledge about the production of propane and charcoal.
Stop grilling and stop global warming!
Gas from Uranus? Why would people fund that concept amus–oh, never mind.
The difference between someone with principles and a zealot is that for a zealot every single thing is always viewed through the lens of their issue.
@wodun
They banned outdoor grilling with charcoal down in Austin citing pollution concerns. It was right after I had left there and I knew that I had just left that gawdfersaken place just in time. They can have their nightmare traffic and George Foreman grill parties all to themselves.
Harvesting gas from Uranus? So, we’ve perfected the methane fueled engines?
Zeal is actually a good thing. It’s the lack of a foundation in reality that causes the problems. Of course, those with zeal (denoted zealot which has another connotation and opposite apathy) may over do it.
The cure for zeal or even slight enthusiasm is repeated assault from all sides by wet blankets. Adults generally lack zeal due to these blankets (falsely equated with reality.) That’s too bad.
I hate to break it to all you naysayers, but the SSME’s do indeed spew massive greenhouse gases. Water vapor is far worse than CO2.
^_^
Damned dihydrogen monoxide, someone should ban that stuff!
Inhabitat is normally a pretty interesting website. I saw this news topic the other day and just shook my head. Eco-wackos are everywhere.
Inciting fear in order to take advantage for political ends. Sounds like the very definition of a terrorist.

Ordinary “charcoal” brickets are made from pressed coal dust, you know. They’re not carbonized wood.
