It’s time somebody told BM to his face that he’s a coward and bully. It would confuse the genie ass.
Feeling like a tough guy today, eh? Bet you’d be terrified to say this to his face
Bill Maher represents an outgrowth of the “popular crowd” mentality in High School. A self reaffirming group of sycophants that laugh at each others “jokes” and high five each other cause, “damn were just so cool…” Cool? Why? “Cuz we can like see how much of a loser everyone else is and so like that makes us like not no where near as much a loser cuz, we like, see how much your a loser….” Okayyy..
Mahr won’t say anything that would endanger his access to the Playboy Mansion. He really wants to be adopted by Hugh Hefner. 🙂
When the driving force behind comedy is malice, it really isn’t comedy anymore.
Is Maher still going through the charade of claiming he’s a libertarian? My impression has always been that other than getting access to hookers, drugs and porn (and I certainly support his right to them), he’s pretty much your standard-issue Staatshtupper.
Gee, John, what might he do- wait for a laugh line?
Bet you’d be terrified to say this to his face
You’d lose that bet. Don’t take up gambling as a profession.
Which reminds me. Got a call the other day asking for Brian. I told him no Brian lives here and ended the call. He called back and I remembered how George Carlin said he handled such situations so I told the caller ‘Brian is dead…” but didn’t think to get the guys names so I could do the rest… “I’m a police detective and we’re looking for a guy named ‘so and so’ for questioning”
Then this joker called me a third time with expletives and suggesting we meet face to face. “I told him I don’t even know who the hell you are,” and hung up.
Anybody wants to assault me for something I say is welcome. I just hope they’re as wealthy as Bill Maher.
I doubt Rand would have the spine to call Maher a “coward” to his face.
Oh Johnny… Just sign in as Troll next time.
I doubt Rand would have the spine to call Maher a “coward” to his face.
Is there some reason why I should care what you doubt?
And what is that should I be worried that he’d do to me?
So, you are afraid to say this to his face. Figured as much.
So you’re so stupid you couldn’t understand what I wrote. Figured as much.
If I’m interpreting John (“The Genius”) Martin’s comments accurately, then am I to conclude that if anyone on the blogosphere–or print journalism for that matter–ever writes disparagingly or critically about a public figure, they then have an obligation to travel to wherever that public figure happens to be, and voice those same critical or disparaging comments to his/her face? Weird.
I’m also wondering why if Mr. Simberg should be afraid to travel to Hollywood to voice critical comments to Maher’s face. Is Maher such a tough guy? Or is he so anti-free-speech that he would assault Mr. Simberg for making such comments? I’d be afraid to speak critically to a crime boss or to Obama–lest I get whacked or audited–but Bill Maher? Come on.
John,
Maher couldn’t even hold his own against Bill O’Reilly in a battle of wits. I doubt anyone here has anything to fear from a guy who is STILL making “Bush is stupid” jokes. 🙂
O’Reilly is one face palm after another. Another example of heart in the right place but mentally challenged. Not to infer that Maher has either.
Ken,
I’d have to agree with you there, which just goes to prove my point. Maher couldn’t even handle O’Reilly , who is not exactly part of the conservative brain trust.
