I’m going to see if Mr. Carter will allow me to use this line on T-Shirts and bumper stickers. It cuts two ways.
A.) it’s an absolute truism.
B.) it will drive the socialists and leftists INSANE!!
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you can charge him for fishing licenses, permits to use public riverbanks and shorelines, environmental impact studies for him wading into the water, lifeguard fees (to protect him from accidentally drowning himself), etc, etc, etc…
