Hey, she’s liberal. Apparently this is unwanted pregnancy by the husband. She doesn’t have kids yet. Not that I’d recommend it, but it’s her body after all.

I’m getting a bit annoyed by attempts to classify this as a “sex scandal”. Sure, there’s something to be said for whether or not it’s an important issue if a congressman engages in sexual behavior outside of his marriage. And it’s also a bit odd that he seemingly sent explicit photos of himself to near strangers with very little provocation. But beyond all that the most important issue is that he lied to the press and lied to the public and turned this thing from a minor “sex scandal” into a much bigger issue. If he’d have said on day one “oopsie, yeah, I did a bad thing” we’d be in a much different playing field than where we are after wasting everyone’s time by stonewalling and trying to manipulate the press.
It wouldn’t matter if he lied about whether he ate the last cookie in the jar or about sex, that sort of behavior should not be acceptable in congressional representatives.
Democrats don’t care if you lie about sex. If it’s about sex, you can break any vow or oath, as far as Democrats are concerned.
