They’re reverting to form. And of course, there were two different teams involved. The military ran the one in Pakistan, the White House ran the one in Washington.

Not sure I agree with the interpretation of Obama’s posture in the picture from the White House during the operation. It looks like he’s leaning forward, elbows on knees, watching the event unfold. Not sure what else he could be doing in such a tiny, crowded room. Sitting back with his arms folded would be a little bit too smug, IMHO.
Biden, on the other hand, appears to have been interrupted from playing FarmVille on facebook, and looks slightly peeved, as if he had been told, “hey, Joe, could you at least attempt to look up at the screen for this picture? Thanks.”
Tom Donilon still reminds me of John Lithgow, and probably has about the most “appropriate” pose in the entire room. Not shocked, not overly pleased, not concerned, just stoic and watching the events unfold.
Too bad the White House situation room doesn’t look more like MTAC in the TV show NCIS. Then again, TV and film very rarely match up with reality very well.
That has to be one of the least presidential pictures ever.
