It’s just a regular launcher wrapped in bacon. Frankly, that’s a waste of good bacon.
Well, except the article at the link says it wasn’t good bacon. If you’re going to throw it out anyway you may as well get some giggles from it.

A gov’t run bacon rocket launcher would need at least 8 bureaucrats to load the 8 AA batteries. Plus, an additional “tech” to open and close the battery door for them.
